With the attendance of Al-Kafeel Centre for Translation, represented by its Director, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Moosawi, the activities of the second preliminary international conference commemorating the millennium of Najaf Hawza were launched. The conference was held within the precincts of Holy Al-Abbas Shrine amidst a scholarly and academic gathering.
The conference was held under the title "(The Scholarly and Cognitive Contribution of Najaf Hawza from the Ninth to the Twelfth Century of Hijra)". It was organized by the Sheikh Al-Tusi Centre for Studies and Investigation, affiliated with the Supreme Commission for Heritage Revival at the Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Society, the Universities of Al-Kafeel and Kufa, and Imam Al-Kadhim (Peace Be Upon Him) College / Najaf Departments.
This participation falls within the Centre's attendance in the forums and activities dedicated to celebrating the millennium of the scholarly Hawza, sponsored by the holy shrines in Iraq. It aims to follow up on the research and studies related to the heritage of the noble Hawza, and to examine the intellectual outputs that can be invested in future translation projects and conveyed to the world.
